TRANG, THAILAND - 1993/01/15: The Sakai live in small groups of one or two families. Here one family built a bamboo hut. Usually, the group is moving when one of them dies. But today, the depletion of natural food in the forest forces them to move more often. The Sakai is an ethnic group with negroid origin who lives in southern Thailand and Malaysia. Today most of the Sakai have been assimilated within the Thai society. Only a few dozens still live in primitive conditions.. (Photo by Thierry Falise/LightRocket via Getty Images)
