Mark Thatcher lost in the Sahara.
The Peugeot-Dangel four-wheel drive car, driven by Premier Margaret Thatcher's 28-year-old son Mark, with co-driver Charlotte Verney, and their mechanic, during the first lap at Orleans (80 miles west of Paris) on the first day of the Paris-Dakar Rally. The trio are now missing in the Sahara Desert. Mark is believed to be in Southern Algeria or Mali, where Britain does not have a residential ambassador. (Photo by PA Images via Getty Images)
