The impending removal of two major outdoor sculptures at LACMA, Tulips by Jeff Koons (SHOWN HERE) and Firetruck by Charles Ray. The artworks, both owned by collector Eli Broad, were installed just prior to the opening of the Broad Contemporary Art Museum and were expected to remain in place for about a year, but Tulips has been scratched and has to be shipped to a factory in Germany for repair. Firetruck is suffering from the elements and will go back to Broad storage. (Photo by Gary Friedman/Los Angeles Times via Getty Images)
