Students read the Bible at the beginning

Students read the Bible at the beginning of the day at the Joaquin Rodezno Public School in San Salvador, El Salvador on July 6, 2010. Teachers started reading the Bible at schools since 2000 trying to bring values to school students under the strong influence of gangs. Salvadorean congress decreed the reading of the bible in public schools, even with the opposition of religious leaders.
