Government-approved Team Hunts Wild Boars In Lantian County

LANTIAN COUNTY, CHINA - AUGUST 29: (CHINA OUT) A stray wild boar cub captured by farmers is shut in a hogpen with pigs on August 29, 2005 in Lantian County of Shaanxi Province, China. The number of wild boars at mountain areas in the county has risen rapidly due to the preserve policy and the vanishing of natural predators such as tiger and leopard. The wild boars did heavy damage to crops and threatened the villages, local authorities have approved the establishment of a hunting team to shoot wild boars.
