Athletics At VIII Summer Olympics

American athlete Morgan Taylor (1903-1975) of the United States team posed during competition in the Men's 400 metres hurdles event at the 1924 Summer Olympics in the Stade Olympique Yves-du-Manoir in Paris, France in July 1924. Morgan Taylor would go on to finish in first place to win the gold medal in the final of the event on 7th July, setting a world record time, but this was not allowed to stand as he knocked over one hurdle, which was a rule violation at that time.
