Romania Promotes Tourism To Boost Economy

POIANA BRASOV, ROMANIA - MARCH 09: Skiers and snowboarders take in late winter pistes in the Bucegi mountains on March 9, 2013 at Poiana Brasov, Romania. Romania is eager to promote its approximately 20 ski resorts, of which Poiana Brasov is among the biggest, to foreign tourists. Both Romania and Bulgaria have been members of the European Union since 2007 and restrictions on their citizens' right to work within the EU are scheduled to end by the end of this year. However Germany's interior minister announced recently that he would veto the two countries' entry into the Schengen Agreement, which would not affect labour rights but would prevent passport-free travel.
