COPENHAGEN, DENMARK - APRIL 10: Queen Margrethe II of Denmark cuts the red rope during the inauguration of the new Panda facility at Copenhagen Zoo but the robe broke by itself before the Queen could cut it on April 10, 2019 in Copenhagen, Denmark. The two Pandas are a gift on a 15 years loan basis from the Chinese Government and are regarded as a token of friendship between the two nations. The names of the Pandas are Xing Er (male) and Mao Suni (female). They arrived last week from Chengdu Panda Base in China. The event this evening was for special invited guests only, but tomorrow, Thursday, Crown Princess Mary of Denmark, who is the new protector for Copenhagen Zoo, will take a morning walk in the Zoo and together with the public visit the Panda facility.
