Protests to allow humanitarian aid to enter in Syria on July 2, 2021 in Idlib, Syria. A human chain is formed by workers from the civil society, humanitarian aid, and medical and rescue services in a vigil calling for maintaining a UN resolution authorizing the passage of humanitarian aid into Syria's rebel-held northwestern Idlib the Bab al-Hawa border crossing with near Bab al-Hawa along the motorway linking it to the city of Idlib. The UN Security Council is in the stage of voting on a draft o extend the cross-border relief aids mechanism amid fears of a Russian veto, Russia has expressed its desire to object to the decision deciding that all relief aids crossings to Syria are closed beside those that go through Damascus government.
