May Day Protests In Paris Amid Continued Outrage Over Pension Reform

PARIS, FRANCE -MAY 01: Protesters take part in a May Day (Labour Day) demonstration May 1, 2023 in Paris, France. This year's May Day protests coincide with weeks of public outrage over a pension-reform law that increased the country's retirement age from 62 to 64, with the coalition of trade unions calling for a massive and united mobilization on May 1st. Several thousand people demonstrated as a reminder of their opposition to the reform but also to call for a better recognition of work and increased wages.
