Protesters Converge On Rhineland Open-Pit Coal Mines

RATH, GERMANY - AUGUST 26: Protesters confront the German police in a field in the Rhineland (Rhenisch) region of mines west of Cologne on August 26, 2017 near Rath, Germany. The group was on its way to block a rail track for trains transporting coal to the RWE Power AG power plant.
