Bloody Sunday Film

Portadown born actor Brian Devlin portraying father Edward Daly with a blood soaked handkerchief on Bloody Sunday. The streets round the Bogside in Londonderry have been transformed for the making of TV film about the 1972 shootings by Paratroopers. * This famous scene was captured at the time by photographers and showed the fatally wounded teenager Jackie Duddy being carried from the area. Bishop Daly as he is now known gave evidence to the Bloody Sunday Inquiry only a few weeks ago and only yards from the scene where the film is being shot.
