(Original Caption) 2/3/1926-Omaha, NE: Photo shows the start of the stampede of more then 1000 head of cattle on a ranch in Western NE which was checked only by the quick action of the cowhands, Rounded up in the cattle pens prepatory to be shipped to the market, The cattel constantly mill around until the ones in the middle become so suffocated that they may make a break for freedom which inadverdantly results in a stampede. It is a typical scene as round season closes in Nebraska.
