Views Of Berlin Wall Ahead Of German Reunification 30th Anniversary

BERLIN, GERMANY - SEPTEMBER 30: Pedestrian walks along the East Side Gallery, a section of the former Berlin Wall that is covered in street art, on September 30, 2020 in Berlin, Germany. Germany will celebrate the 30th anniversary of German reunification this coming Saturday. The Berlin Wall, which divided East and West Berlin from 1961 until 1989, became a symbol of Germany's Cold War division. While East Germany and West Germany merged into today's Germany on October 3, 1990, distinct identities for many people born in the two regions remain. (Photo by Maja Hitij/Getty Images)
