Palestinians surrender to Israeli soldiers in June
GAZA STRIP:Palestinians surrender to Israeli soldiers in June 1967 in the occupied territory of the West Bank. On 05 June 1967, Israel launched preemptive attacks against Egypt and Syria. In just six days, Israel occupied the Gaza Strip and the Sinai peninsula of Egypt, the Golan Heights of Syria, and the West Bank and Arab sector of East Jerusalem (both under Jordanian rule), thereby giving the conflict the name of the Six-Day War.
