(Original Caption) 5/31/1938- New York, NY: Actress sued for breach of contract. Comely Frances Farmer, star of stage and screen is pictured in the New York Supreme Court here today, to oppose the suit of Sheppard Traube who wants to collect $75,000 as an agent's commission under the terms of an alleged contract he claims to have with the actress. The contract according to Traube was signed in 1953 and provided that for five years, Miss Farmer was to pay him ten per cent of her earnings. Miss Farmer denies the charges.
