Walter Winchell Testifying Before a Senate Committee

(Original Caption) New York columnist Walter Winchell appears on the witness stand before the special Senate Censure Committee, as he refused to tell the committee who gave him a copy of the so called "FBI letter" produced by Senators Joseph McCarthy during the Army-McCarthy hearings. Sen. Ralph E. Flanders, one of the senators bringing charges against McCarthy, wrote the six man Censure Committee that Winchell had written in his column that he had seen the FBI document.
