New Superior General Of The Society of Jesus Celebrates A Thanksgiving Mass

The Superior General of the Society of Jesus is the official title of the leader of the Society of Jesus, the Roman Catholic religious order, also known as the Jesuits. The position sometimes carries the nickname of the Black Pope. Fr. Arturo Sosa Abascal was chosen to succeed 80 year old Fr. Adolfo Nicolas as the head of the 16,000 members in the Jesuit order.
