Whole Woman's Health of McAllen

McALLEN, TEXAS - February 26, 2016: A procedure room at Whole Woman's Health of McAllen. Whole Woman's Health of McAllen clinic remains open after HB2, a 2013 Texas law that requires abortion clinics in Texas to be ambulatory surgical centers, went into effect because of a temporary ruling that it may reopen until the Supreme Court can examine the original case. HB2 also requires that doctors have admitting privileges at a hospital within 30 miles of the abortion clinic. The U.S. Supreme Court will hear oral arguments on March 26 in the case of Whole Woman's Health v. Cole which will challenge the constitutionality of the law.
