The Manhattan Beach Farmers Market opens back up, during the coronavirus pandemic
MANHATTAN BEACH, CA - MAY 12: Lindsay Wandzilak, center, from Manhattan Beach, with daughter Navy, 1, in arms and son Madden,4, got their cherries, peaches and good vibes, while attending the re-opening of the Farmer's Market, in Manhattan Beach, CA, after being closed for eight weeks, Tuesday, May 12, 2020, during the coronavirus pandemic. There were 13 of the core farmers and two pre-packaged vendors, one with seafood and one baker, providing no-touch service. There was one-way traffic, with markings on the ground to help maintain social distancing, face coverings required and only 35 people allowed into the area at once. According to Manhattan Beach Farmers Market Operator Cynthia Rogers, more vendors will be added each week, as the South Bay opens more business and services, but having the usual 50 vendors and open cooking is a long ways off.
