The harmful plant ragweed has developed into a plague in some parts of Brandenburg. Therefore, in Vetschau (Oberspreewald-Lausitz) on Friday, under expert guidance, the weeds were taken to their roots on the roadsides and on agricultural land. The tear-out campaign is organised by the Ambrosia Working Group of the Ministry of the Environment. Actions are also planned in Potsdam on Saturday.
