World War Two Europe 1944

Japanese American infantrymen of the US 442nd Regimental Combat Team from United States Seventh Army, a unit composed almost entirely of second-generation American soldiers of Japanese ancestry (Nisei) are transported in 2½-ton 6×6 medium duty trucks, the deuce and a half to new positions on 14th October 1944 at Chambois in the Orne departement of north-western France. The 442nd would become the most decorated unit in United States military history, earning more than 18,000 individual awards and citations.
