Liebig34 Building Gutted Following Evictions

BERLIN, GERMANY - DECEMBER 08: In this aerial view on the façade of the house opposite Liebigstrasse 34, also known as Liebig34, banners hang sympathising with the former residents of Liebig 34 who were evicted in October 2020, on December 08, 2020 in Berlin, Germany. The building was home to residents who identify themselves as a far-left "anarcho-queer-feminist house project" and who were forcibly evicted by police following years of legal wrangling with its current owner, an investor who wants to develop the building, as well as at times violent confrontations with police. Liebig34 was among the last buildings originally occupied by squatters following the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989. (Photo by Christian Ender/Getty Images)
