GENERAL INFORMATION: FOR WEEKEND STORY -- Hundreds of inner-city third graders are getting adopted. The Minneapolis Foundation is adopting 450 kids from Minneapolis and St. Paul in an effort to get them to graduate and go to college. Any kid who graduates from high school will win a $10,000 scholarship for college. And from now until they graduate, the kids will get tutoring and other fringe benefits to help them make it to the commencement ceremony in Year 2010.
