Chart Linking Gangsters to Map

(Original Caption) Here's the way the racketeering group lined up in the early days when the underworld was just learning the art of silencing witnesses by the "one-way ride". Of these eight, Masserie, Higgins, Lovett, Lonergan and Yale are dead, victims of "gang law", while Capone is in a Federal prison. As the map shows, the Navy Street section of Brooklyn was the breeding place of the future underworld "Greats," although Yale, Capone, Higgins were then unimportant members of various gangs. Terranova got his start in Harlem.
