DENVER, CO, MARCH 8, 2004 - Having trouble catching your "Z's"? Michael<cq> Quigley<cq> has come to the Sleep Diagnostic Center<cq> at National Jewish Medical and Research Center<cq> in Denver to see if he can help his wife get better sleep by finding out why he snores. Sleep tech Tom<cq> Pearce<cq> attatches electrodes to Quigley's face and head that will monitor numerous functions, from his breathing to heartrate. "REM is our goal," says Pearce, refering to the "rapid-eye movement" level of sleep where people get their most restful sleep. And restful sleep is the goal this weekend when National Jewish hosts "The Sleep Festival." The event is Saturday, March 13, 8 a.m-noon at 1400 Jackson Street<cq>, and will offer free lung function and blood pressure testing, along with a tour of the Sleep Diagnostic Center, and other educational exhibits. Call 303-398-1868<cq> for information and to make a reservation, seating is limited. (DENVER POST STAFF PHOTO BY KATHRYN SCOTT OSLER) (Photo By Kathryn Osler/The Denver Post via Getty Images)
