Demonstration of Automobile Radio-Telephone
Frederick T. Budelman, chief engineers of the Fred. M. Link Corp., making first public demonstration of the radio dial telephone system Jan. 24th. The dial is located on the car's dashboard. In tests, a station wagon and a passenger sedan cruised through Manhattan, their drives chatting over dashboard phones with each other and with a central station on Madison Avenue. It will be several years before such phones are available generally.
