Four-time World Cup winner Mario Zagallo is coming
RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL: Four-time World Cup winner Mario Zagallo is coming out of retirement to coach Brazil for the World Cup holder's friendly against South Korea in Seoul 20 November. The 71-year-old, who stood down as coach of Brazil club side Flamengo last year, said: "I accepted this appointment with a lot of pride." Zagallo is stepping back into the hotseat following the decision by Luiz Felipe Scolari to quit after this summer's World Cup triumph. Zagallo himself won the World Cup as a player in 1958 and 1962, as a coach in 1970 and as technical director to Carlos Parreira in 1994. He also coached Brazil to the 1998 final where they lost to France. AFP PHOTO /Antonio SCORZA (Photo credit should read ANTONIO SCORZA/AFP via Getty Images)
