Commissioning of the first A20 high-speed ultrasonic charging stations

28 February 2019, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Jarmen: Demminer Land" tank and rest area on the A20. The service area has four charging points with state-of-the-art charging technology, which are compatible with the European charging standard (CCS - Combined Charging System), with the commissioning of fast charging columns on the same day. The charging stations are designed for up to 350 kilowatts and enable significantly shorter charging times. In addition, every electric and hybrid vehicle equipped with a plug in the international CCS charging standard can be charged there in the future. The service station "Demminer Land", commissioned in 2016 and operated by Tank & Rast, previously had a fast-loading column with a loading capacity of 50 kilowatts. This remains in operation.
