(Original Caption) Dr. Paul L. Kirk, a noted criminologist, examines the bloodstained pillow upon which Marilyn Sheppard met her death last July 4th. The pillow was part of the exhibits in the murder trial of Dr. Samuel Sheppard, who was convicted of 2nd degree murder in the slaying of his wife. Kirk was engaged by the family of Dr. Sam Sheppard to hunt for the killer of Marilyn.
