Dadaist artist Robert Wolf is painted with ashes of real burned Swiss banknotes during a provocative event against the financial crisis, organized on November 14, 2008 in Zurich by members of the Cabaret Voltaire from the Dadaist cultural movement originated in the financial Swiss capital. The Dadaism or Dada, an avant-garde movement of anarchic protest was founded In 1916, as World War I raged on, in Zurich in a small tavern on that became known as the Cabaret Voltaire. Dadaists blamed the war on capitalism and nationalism, and devoted many of their performances and other to attacking the establishment and shocking contemporary audiences.
