Vietnam Scenics
Da Nang, VIETNAM - DECEMBER, 1970: Vietnamese women who work as civilians at Da Nang Air Base wait to board a U.S. military vehicle which will transport them to their job sites on the giant military base in South Vietnam. The women are wearing traditional Vietnamese conical hats, or "non la". Da Nang Air Base in South Vietnam was a Republic of Vietnam Air Force facility. The U.S. used it as a major base during the Vietnam war, stationing Army, Air Force, Navy and Marine Corps units there.
