On a white background, blue headline and below a picture and a table of contents, in black with red underlines; the picture reproduces a pencil and crayons on paper drawing made by American architect Louis Kahn and representing the Acropolis of Athens; the 1951 work presents summarily the acropolis with vivid and slightly unnatural colours, while modern buildings and the trees on the bottom part are just outlined with a pencil; the yellow little clouds tells it is sunset; the sharp hill boasts warm colours on the sides touched directly from the sun, and a cold light blue on the others; a similar effect concerns the Parthenon, whose colours shift from a light orange to a dark brown.
