373804 08: Cookie, the controversial monkey owned by the Flikshteins, sucks on a lollipop July 22, 2000 in her family''s Manhattan Beach yard in Brooklyn, New York. The Flikshtein family have had Cookie for five years and consider her a member of their family. But Cookie is an endangered Ceropithecus diana monkey, illegal to own as a pet, and thus could be taken away soon to an animal rescue center at the Detroit Zoo.
