Passengers Leaving Stranded Train

(Original Caption) Closeup airview of the ice and snow clad cars comprising the luxury train City of San Francisco shows the extent to which the train was buried in snow. Stalled in drifts many feet deep since last Sunday, some of the cars can be seen to be completely covered with icy whiteness. Passengers are shown here as they began their hike westward a quarter mile to where vehicles awaited them.
