Ciudad Perdida, Colombia's Sierra Nevada, August 16, 2015. -- The Ciudad Perdida, is a 13th-14th century pre-Colombian city built by the Tayrona Indians and disovered in 1975 by guaqueros (tomb raiders). Lost City consists of a series of 169 terraces carved into the mountainside, a net of tiled roads and several small circular plazas.
