(el) cd25library_bb_3 -- An program to digitize critical city records and neighborhood history draws the attention of Dr. Anne-Imelda Radice, (right) director of the federal Institute of Museum and Library Services, who inspects the volumes. Denver Clerk and Recorder Stephanie O'Malley brought over some of the oldest real estate records that are indexes for documents dating back to the mid 1800s for the meeting inside the Denver Public Library, where the materials will be digitally archived at to make them more accessible to the public so the original leather-bound volumes can be conserved. That work will be done in the Western History/Geneology Dept. of the library under the direction of manager Jim Kroll, rear.
