Nuclear Test USA - Castle
Castle Romeo was the code name given to one of the tests in the Operation Castle series of American thermonuclear tests beginning in March 1954 at Bikini Atoll. 1954. It followed Operation Upshot-Knothole. The ultimate objective was to test designs for an aircraft deliverable thermonuclear weapon. Marshall Islands, Pacific.
