Protestors In Bosnia And Herzegovina Demand Justice For Two Unresolved Deaths

SARAJEVO, BOSNIA-HERZEGOVINA - DECEMBER, 30: Bosnians protest to demand justice for the unresolved deaths of two young men, David Dragičević and Denan Memi, in Sarajevo, Bosnia-Herzegovina on December 30, 2018. The banner reads, Pravda! or Justice!. Dragičević was killed in Banja Luka on March 18, 2018, the informal capital of Republika Srpska (a legal entity within Bosnia and Herzegovina-BIH), but his death was declared an accident by police. Memi was murdered in Sarajevo in 2016 but police declared the death a traffic accident. The protestors claim the murders were covered up and the lack of police and government transparency have sparked demonstrations throughout the country since March.
