Fifth Beatle Auction at Bonhams

Bonhams staff leaf through contact sheets of George Harrison taken in Hamburg in 1961, at Bonhams auction house in Knightsbridge, central London. A collection of letters, poetry, artworks, sketch books, *..photographs and other personal mementos of 'fifth Beatle' Stuart Sutcliffe are being sold by his sister Pauline at Bonhams on Tuesday July 29. Stuart died from a brain haemorrhage in April 1962. 29/07/03 Letters, photographs and other personal items documenting the tragic life of the late Sutcliffe had a disappointing response when they went under the hammer auction at Bonhams, central London.
