The Tetons And Snake River

A black and white photograph of several of the peaks of the Teton Range covered in snow, the Snake River winds through the landscape and is surrounded by heavily forested lands; the image comes from a series of photographs known as the mural project by Ansel Adams, who was commissioned by the National Park Service in 1941 to create a photographic mural for the Department of the Interior Building in Washington DC.
