Bendu Alliou sits with her infant daughter on April 27, 2016 outside the hospital in Kailahun, eastern Sierra Leone.
Hard hit by spread of the Ebola virus the capacity of the small hospital in Kailahun has been stretched over the course of the epidemic. UNFPA (United Nation Population Fund) supports the local Ministry of Health with a program that promotes maternal health and family planning. / AFP / MARCO LONGARI (Photo credit should read MARCO LONGARI/AFP via Getty Images)
