An injured soldier receives treatment at a hospital after a train carrying conscripts derailed in the Giza neighbourhood of Badrasheen, about 40 kilometres south of Cairo, on January 15, 2013, killing 19 people and wounding 107. The accident is the latest in a string of transport disasters plaguing Egypt, and comes just two weeks after a new transport minister, Hatem Abdul Latif was appointed.
