(Original Caption) St. Paul, Minn.: American Indian Movement (AIM) leader Russell Means was welcomed back to St. Paul by his grandfather Frank Fools Crow (left) the Sun Dance on trial for his part in the 71-day occupation of Wounded Knee, S.D. after being defeated for the tribal presidency of the Oglala Sioux by Dick Wilson (not shown). Means asked for all AIM members to return to Wounded Knee to honor those killed.
