Richard II
14th June 1381, Richard II (1367 - 1400), King of England (1377-1399) here seen sailing down the Thames in a barge to confer with the rebels at Mile End. Son of Edward the Black Prince he succeeded his grandfather Edward III. He was deposed by Henry of Lancaster in 1399 and sent to the Tower.
