Ambroise-Firmin Didot (1790 - 1876) - French printer, editor, Hellenist, and art collector. He was the youngest son of Firmin Didot (1764 - 1836) and manages the Didot house together with his brother Hyacinthe-Firmin Didot (1794 - 1880). He further developed the stereotype, the typographical system of measurement (with the Didot point still valid in Europe today) and the Didot font. Wood engraving, published in 1893.
