The Buzziest Films at Toronto Film Festival

The Toronto International Film Festival is one of the largest film festivals in the world and always attracts the biggest celebrities and most anticipated movies of the year. The ten day film festival showcases movies from around the world, many of which will join the race for Oscar gold. From the Lady Gaga documentary to a Kate Winslet epic, this year's lineup does not disappoint. Catch up on the films everyone is talking about that you won't want to miss in theaters.

"Battle of the sexes"

Emma Stone and Steve Carrell star in "Battle of the Sexes," the true story about one of the most famous tennis exhibition matches in the history of the sport. Stone serves up a stellar performance as tennis pro and feminist icon Billie Jean King that already has critics wondering if she'll take home the Oscar a second year in a row.

"Gaga: five foot two"

Mother Monster gets raw in the trailers for her new Netflix documentary "Gaga: Five Foot Two" which gives fans a glimpse at what it's like to be an international superstar and reminds us that fame isn't always what it's cracked up to be.

Jake Gyllenhaal stars in "Stronger," where he plays Boston Marathon survivor Jeff Bauman as he struggles adjusting to post-recovery life after losing his legs in the bombing. "Orphan Black's" Tatiana Maslany stars opposite Gyllenhaal as Baum's girlfriend, determined to help him keep fighting through his darkest moments. 

"the breadwinner"

This animated drama produced by Angelina Jolie is already receiving rave reviews and generating Oscar buzz among critics. The Afghan-set film directed by Nora Twomey offers a beautiful but devastating look at a people's struggle to survive.

"the mountain between us"

Kate Winslet can't seem to catch a break. Instead of clinging onto a broken door in frozen waters for dear life, the actress and co-star Idris Elba's characters find themselves stranded in the mountains of Utah after surviving a plane crash in "The Mountain Between Us."  The epic duo (and a Labrador Retriever), must band together in order to make it out alive.
