(CHORUS) Please don't get it twisted cuz' Bob means you no harm. He may lack inhibitions but at least he's got his charm. He's not the greatest of them but, there's a little Bob in all of us. Bob lives above this seedy bar. No health insurance, no car and he's god damned old. Bob approaches me, he's got no shoes on. With his gains far gone he decides to get bold. "You've got what it takes" is what he whispers to me between his smoke stained teeth, it makes me cringe. He tries to kiss my cheek but his lips catch my ear, the words that I'll never hear thanks to Bobs ten year binge. His intentions remain a mystery to me. What kind of man might Bald Bob be? If he hadn't lost his way so far, if he'd found his way out of that bar.
