The Red Plastic Buddha burst out of Chicago’s psychedelic underground in late 2007 with the release of their debut CD Sunflower Sessions (Spade Kitty - SK024). Although one catches glimpses of Swinging London circa 1967 in their sound, the Buddhas use the paisley template as a mere starting point for their catchy pop masterpieces.
