A Greensboro, NC native, Ben Wise is the son of two music-teaching parents and began playing piano and singing at the age of 6. By 12 years, he'd switched focus to bass and guitar and started honing his songwriting chops. He spent years fronting punk/DIY bands in NC's indie-drenched music scene, releasing various albums and touring to gain exposure elsewhere.
